d5, was rather emotional as the fellowship almost comes to an end. Tears and joy are happening at the same time. It’s been an amazing 5 days of adventure and experience with the fellowship! Thou shall not be forgotten.
d5 started with a terrarium workshop, where our creative mind is put into test to improve our home deco skills. I did not have any prior experience with all these home deco. I made it looks super dramatic cause we do need some drama in our lives right?
We adjourned to DPAC for an intensive yet freezing workshop (the room was like an igloo) with Ashraf Saharuddin (our media man ). He thought a lot of useful tips when taking a photo and give us a task to look for things to photograph around Empire Damansara. It’s very embarrassing for me to admit this but I interpreted his task wrongly and had my own “lecture” instead :/
Looking at other people’s work do made me take a few steps back from what I’m doing here. It’s just I have more room for improvement and there is a long way to go! It just fuels up the fire that is burning inside me that I want to make really amazing photos that tells the story that I want to tell, equally balance the technical and the art aspect of a photo. It’s a very hard thing to do, but I will never die trying. That is something I promised myself with!
With is even better, we got back stage access to meet and speak briefly with Shelah – the prominent Drag Queen while she prepares for It’s #MYLIFE show on the night itself. I think what makes Shelah so stand out is the way she portrayed herself in the public. A very charismatic and confident who says the truth about the reality of the world that we lived in in a joking and enlightening manner! I think more and more woman in Malaysia should learn some of her good traits.
The show really blew me away, she definitely have some amazing showmanship that never fails to amaze the audience and drawn the audience deeply with her acts. Got to give her credit! I think that show just tells us not to be afraid to express our feelings be it good or bad, as you know, that is what life is about, it’s a love and hate relationship and we are married to it.
This is the moment where everyone starts to get really really emotional. The fellowship has officially been called off. All 12 of us have brought back many great moments, memories and specially good experience. One of the greatest gift I got from tsbreakaway is the good friendship that all of us shared in tsbreakaway regardless of our backgrounds.
Here’s some last moments of the fellowship
In fact, everyone in this world has their own journey.
The journey doesn’t end here. In fact, it has only just begun.
There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.
Special thanks to Tourism Selangor for having me, this very ordinary peasant in this fellowship, the crew members for lepaking with me and last but not forget the fellowship that make it all happen!
